@exelarts Brother that was back when the sport had heart, this shit they call "paintball" now is a minstrel of what it use to be. It ain't even paintball anymore that is how much of a joke it is, but look at the people in paintball now compared to 15-20 years ago; no wonder the sport has gone to hell in a hand basket.

@exelarts After nearly 25 years of playing I have learned that players (just like soldiers) will complain about anything and everything.
12.5BPS was a fair compromise but 10BPS is not even worth my damn time out of my day.

@illegalmartian well people were bitching about being over shot then too and i can somewhat understand lowering the rate of fire to bring more people into the sport but since they never capitalized on it only relying on word of mouth from players to bring in new players the change was ultimately pointless

@exelarts Everything is flipped upside down and backwards it seems like. They are so soft now, the whine about "overshooting" at 10BPS, back in my day 20BPS uncapped semi was standard. if one could not walk 20BPS off the break with your Intimidator or DM6, you were doing something wrong! They started putting the 15BPS ramp limit to minimize people using cheater modes.

Paintball use to be great but now it is a minstrel, an absolute cluster fuck.

Once the recession hit everything went down hill but once it started to get better paintball companies stopped advertising and it stopped appearing on TV and stores like Walmart and it's slowly dieing nxl and GI sports needs to step up I'm afraid paintball will die in my lifetime and I don't want it too.
