I have been in paintball now for about 23 years, I have been playing tournaments, organizing small leagues or involved in the industry in some capacity or another now longer than some of these players have been alive.
Mike it is so nice to have you and Tech PB back, it has been too long. Thank you for all you have done for the paintball community over the years. I stopped playing D3 tournaments in 2014.
I more or less only play three or four times a year. Not only did I play D3 xBall, but I also had an interest in paintball photography but that is also a very negative and toxic environment.
With how toxic tournament xball is and with how badly the industry has declined over the last 10-15 years, I do not have the same energy for paintball like I used too; now that I have other toys to play with (2016 Maserati Gran Turismo).
I highly doubt I will get back into paintball on a regular basis, but once in a while I might go to fields from time to time and play for fun (nothing competitive).
I will admit, even 15-20 years ago we had our problems in paintball back then but the last 10 years has been very toxic (more so than usual). But we have Tech PB back, we have Mike back and so that is really all that matters now.
I still have my cameras, photographer is a hobby to me; if you guys happen to see me at a field you go to, let me know and I will make sure to get a few photos/videos of you playing (on the house).
