Paintball Clubs in High School & College
Thinking about trying to start a paintball club in High School, or in College? You better watch this video first! Paintball markers are NOT allowed on campus, under any circumstances!! 1st! I started a club at my High School
Thanks for anserin my question mike my friends and i started a club after school and off campus. we just meet at miami rage and play during the weekends. we even all chiped in for uniforms.

i go to a private school in oregon i talked to my principal i bring my gun and all my gear stuff it in his office during school and go to practice on monday nights after school works great all i am saying talk to the school and they might let u but i am not promising anything.

i love being canadian. when my school had its little paintball club i brought mine to school and showed it to the school cop. he thought it was awesome
So, hypothetically speaking, if you were able to start a club on a college campus, if you can’t store you’re marker in your dorm, and you don’t live close to home…Where are you going to store it?
I didn’t know they weren’t allowed on college campuses. LOL, I had a gun shipped to me in the original box and the lady at the front desk didn’t look surprised. I got lucky it seems.

one small problem with your plan for college. u are not allowed to wear school name without the school permission. perfect example is my school when we went to play hockey and the school, b/c we were wearing the name, forced us to end our season. in order to wear the name in compition u have to deal with the school first

Yea paintball guns are not allowed on my campus but the kid with the bull whip in the moddle of campus is ok and the two campus police came knocking on my door asking me about my guns. i still don’t get that one?

Starting a paintball clubs in colleges and universities should be relatively easy. In my university, clubs are under the control of the student society (they allocate the funding and the recognition) and all I need is to sign some paperwork, a constitution, and a few signatures and we are up and running.
For crying out loud, my school has a Palestinian Liberation club. Why SHOULDN’T a paintball club exist?
Where would you suggest that you keep your paintball guns besides your dorm?

uci(university of california irvine) i believe does allow paintball guns on thier campus they have one of the best college level paintball teams and are even recognized by fsn( fox sport network)
Ohio University has an amazing paintball club! for the past 3 years they’ve been ranked in the top 3. I believe they took 2nd for 09
our campus lets us have our guns on campus and we won the ncpa last year!!!!!

We just started the old paintball club back up here at Ohio State and the OUAB cleared us and were going to start playing in tournys this spring so OSU will start to notice us and will maybe give us more money for next year cuz right now they are giving us like $300 a quarter or something a long those lines, but this vid will help anyone trying to start a club. Here at GSU, the southern one, we are allowed to have the guns, but the tanks CAN NOT be stored along side in the vicinity. Paintballs also have be in another place, separate from the gun or tank. If traveling its allowed in your car just different rules in the dorm, hence why i live off campus.

OMG this is crazy, in the UK i have set up OFFICIAL University (college for you guys in the states) Clubs for both paintball and airsoft. First of all yes the staff know jack about paintball unless one of them has been to a rental woodsball site. Simply by communicating with local security/police to let them know where and when we are displaying gear, the university knows it cannot be discharged in anyway (they will check), they’re happy for you to do it. I even got funding from the uni to put a team together in a national university tournament! (got like

Mike is completely right. And this is coming from the president of a college PB club. It is almost not worth the effort. Universities see you as a liability and will not support you at all.
At my school we had attempts at a pb club but trying to organize when to go out was kinda hard, everyone had something to do one day, or didn’t have money, or couldn’t get a ride (my school has kids from two states, not saying which) so it kinda failed. What Mike said about getting your school on some equipment though and sporting your name is kinda easy for my school though, I just have to get DYE Ironmen equipment, same colors and name, lol

what? you have just as much chance of somebody shooting up your school with a paintball gun the day after you ask for a club as you do being allowed to bring a paintball gun in your school. that was a HUGE exaggeration.
I am lucky. I am within that 1% that allows markers on campus, but you HAVE to give it to a faculty member to hold it until you use it.
mike, what if i want to got to a college like navy that already has a pb club…. where would i keep my equipment…… i live in tampa also.. so i cant keep them at my parents house.

I already started a ST.FX Paintball Club in Nova Scotia, you wouldn’t believe the response you get from people. I have been talking with the people who run this school and they are very accomodating and intelligent with this.
my friend brought there whole gearbag to school lol he padlocked it tho
lol we were playing paintball in the woods near a school and the cops show up on our makeshift field saying someone shot up the school, luckily we had different color paint than them….
thats what great about my school! b/c a boarding school no prob with us bring our guns! we even had a tournament with 11 teams and one team was made of teachers only. of course our Spanish teacher mr.sydnor is ex-pro so he got it all setup.
We got a paintball club started up at our high school, and our principle came and played with us. It was pretty intense he borrowed one of my friends ego 8 and had a blast. Now he comes and plays with us once every month or so.
