Tiberius Arms T9 First Strike Supergun Show
We were too busy playing with these markers to review them! Ha! But it’s here, the Tiberius Arms T9 review! Complete with dissassembly, accesories, and we bust a couple myth surrounding the T9, including that is shoots BOTH normal paintballs, along with First Strike rounds. Also, it can use either HPA or CO2, hopper or magazine, completely versatile! Enjoy!

Mike: Great Review! However, numbers you posted right after you did the test are just a little different:
Tippmann A5 w/ Flatline @ 285fps (gun wouldn’t shoot higher for some reason, tried 4 different tanks and CO2 got it to 285fps) = 289.3 feet
Vanguard Creed @ 300fps = 305.7 feet
SP-1 w/ Apex @ 300fps = 325.7
Tiberius Arms T9 shooting First Strike Rounds @ 300fps = 517.0 feet
Just keeping you honest
I’ve shot three cases of these things myself in many walk on games where only the refs and a few of my friends knew I was shooting First Strike rounds. Nobody ever complained to the refs about hot shooting and even one guy (who I plugged in the chest at a distance of about 25feet) only commented on how accurate I was with my one shot.
One final thing- Eric(of Tiberius Arms) says to push the bolt all the way forward once you have the chamber attached to the body. When you attach the barrel (last) it will push the bolt into the correct position relative to the sear (provided you already put the trigger group back on). Check Eric’s video on youtube for some other good tips on taking it apart and putting it back together:

great video, but i have one more curiosity; how does it switch from normal paint to first strike and vise versa on the fly with paint loaded in both. is there a chance at doublefeeding 1 of each round when doing a switch between rounds? i saw that u emptied the clip before switch to a hopper and turning the barrel. its my last worry before getting one. THNX!!

You missed one Con. If you ever break paint in the breach, get a chop, get a barrel break, you are out of the game for the time it takes you to completely break down the gun. Having teched at T9 for my friend I can say that cleaning out the breach adequately without completely breaking down the gun is nigh impossible. The paint will get into and around the bolt as well as down towards the magazine well. That being said once you break the down and reassemble the marker a couple times (like i did) you become much faster. The first time I broke it down an reassembled it it took me about 30-40 mins (I wasn’t using the manual) from firing to in pieces to firing. By the third or fourth time, easily 10mins at a leisurely pace. So if you do play with this marker and normal paintballs I recommend using a force fed hopper to remove all chance of a chop and save you a lot of headache.

You shouldn’t use an Apex with first strike.
