Awesome vid Mike. Good for the high caliber players.
A buddy of mine actually was lazy, and left the reg attached to his tank and flew to USPL Vegas, and they never checked his baggage lol! Still though, it’s bad to take risks like that.

Mike,
I’m assuming that one could also use a hydrotesting facility to ‘break’ the regulator free from the hpa cylinder for you. I know at our hydro shop, (I’m in the sprinkler & fire extinguisher biz) it would be easy for us to do that for paintball hpa cylinders.

The tanks come from the factory with locktite, and we send them back to get the regs removed…but when we travel to our destination simply hand tightening the reg is sufficient for pressurization? I did not know this…awesome!

Hi,
I live over seas (in France) and I was just wondering if I could bring tank to the USA from France or vise versa? Do the same rules apply on international planes? If you or anyone have an answer please email me at mikrofone4@hotmail.com

Hi Micheal, if you go on a air plane either way coming and going, if your reg is on your tank you will be seriously fined and locked up. Do NOT GO ON A PLANE WITH YOUR REG STILL ON YOUR TANK

Hello, just wanted you to know I have added you to my Google bookmarks because of your beautiful blog layout (LOL). With that said, honestly, I believe your blog has one of the cleanest design I’ve seen yet. It honestly makes your blog post easier to read.

Mike, I was just wondering If you send your tank to the manufacturer, Will it not be basically the same as shipping your tank the a tournament. I don’t quite understand why I would mail the tank to the manufacturer and wait for them to do what they have to do and send it back when I could just send it to the tournament for the same cost. If there is a big difference in price shipping, you forgot to mention it in your video.

you can carry firearms on planes as well as paintball equipment. I’m sure you can’t carry on your pball gear, you’ll have to pack it in baggage (i have too much to carry on anyway). When carrying firearms you simply declare to the airline that you have it and they inspect it prior to your flight. The airline is the best source for answers to your questions. I know you can take the gear, but they will provide you with accurate information on how to transport and package your gear.
